What is Walk The Summit's mission?

Walk The Summit is dedicated to transforming the lives of children in remote Himalayan villages by providing them with education, resources, and opportunities that transcend the limitations of their local schools. We set up computer labs, bring Wi-Fi, provide stationary, and empower students with 21st century life skills.
Who runs Walk The Summit?

Walk The Summit is a student-led organisation co-founded by Krishiv and Vansh — two high school best friends driven by a shared desire to bridge the education gap in India's most remote communities. The organisation is run by passionate young volunteers from across the country.
How does my donation make a difference?

100% of your donation goes directly to education programs and infrastructure. As little as ₹1,000 can cover a month's stationary for a classroom. ₹5,000 provides digital learning access for a full year. We are completely transparent — you will receive a receipt and can see exactly how funds are used through our public reporting.
Is my donation tax-exempt?

Yes. Donations to Walk The Summit are tax-exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, India. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your contribution automatically via email after donating through Milaap.

Absolutely. We have a proven track record of successfully facilitating CSR partnerships, including securing a ₹15+ lakh school bus for a rural school in Mussoorie. Where does Walk The Summit currently operate?

We primarily operate in remote Himalayan regions including villages in Uttarakhand (Mussoorie area) and partner with schools affiliated with the Himalayan International School. Our reach currently extends to 70+ rural classrooms serving 2,000+ students across the region.
Is Walk The Summit a registered NGO?

Yes. Walk The Summit is a registered organization with 4 NGO registered partners. Our work has been officially recognised by the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Uttarakhand, and we have received multiple national awards including from AIIMS Delhi, PHDCCI, and NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission.
