About

Team behind WTS

In the rugged terrain of the Himalayas, where a simple pencil is a precious commodity, where children trek miles just to reach school, we stand as a beacon of hope and progress. That's why we're not just setting up computer labs and bringing Wi-Fi to these villages, we're also empowering these kids with essential 21st century life skills, preparing them for a future where they can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society. Our efforts extend to supporting local schools initiated by the community itself, often lacking experienced teachers and resources. By providing them with computers and Wi-Fi, we connect them with the outside world, ensuring that every child has access to tools for success regardless of their geographical constraints. We're not just changing lives, we're shaping futures by building bridges between remote communities and the global stage.

THE IDEA

Founder's story

Krishiv and Vansh, best friends from high school and the co-founders of Walk The Summit, are working toward a shared goal: transforming education for children in remote Himalayan villages. Their journey is rooted in a simple yet profound realization - geography should not determine the quality of education a child receives.

Krishiv's Vision: During summers spent in his grandmother’s remote village in Uttarakhand, Krishiv frequently witnessed the disparities between rural and urban education. He often observed children walking miles to schools with little infrastructure or technology, which deepened his desire to bring change. These experiences continuously shaped his vision for Walk The Summit, where every child gained access to the opportunities they deserved.

Vansh's Dedication: Inspired by Krishiv’s stories and driven by a passion for change, Vansh co-founded Walk The Summit. Together, they are working to level the playing field for rural students, ensuring access to modern educational tools and opportunities.

"We change lives
We move mountains
